Analytics is always important.
It’s just… rarely urgent.
And that’s the problem.
In most companies, the work looks like this:
- Define better engagement metrics
- Improve tracking quality
- Validate data accuracy
- Close gaps in measurement
Everyone agrees it matters.
But when priorities shift, it gets pushed: 👉 A product release takes priority 👉 A bug needs to be fixed 👉 A stakeholder needs something “quick”
So analytics work gets delayed. Again.
Weeks pass. Sometimes months.
And by the time you come back to it:
- The original question has changed
- The implementation is outdated
- Or worse… decisions were made without it
This is how companies end up running on incomplete data not because they chose to, but because analytics never made it to the top of the list.
